Project: Install or Replace Foundation Drains:
Our 30 year old drainage system had failed. We hired them to reroute and install new downspouts, french drains, catch basins. They had to cut through concrete patio and sidewalk and replace the concrete once the drains were installed. This was a big project. We got multiple bids and Andy at 5 Star was clearly knowledgeable and experienced. Their bid gave us the best results and quality for our money. They beat the competition on price and were the only company that worked with us to add elements we wanted included. This was very heavy, hard work and Andy and Fidel were excellent workers. They started the project just before the huge snowstorm in the Seattle region, and it was only partially finished before the snow prevented work. Their communication with us throughout was excellent. As soon as humanly possible, they returned and finished the project. They were professional, personable and respectful. We couldn't be happier with the work they did and would not hesitate to recommend.

I was very happy with what they did for me. Their cleanup was phenomenal. They were professional. They were prompt, they followed through on what they said they would do. I have no complaints. These 2 men worked from 8 in the morning to 2:30 in the afternoon and hardly stopped working.

Interior Waterproofing:
I can't tell you how thrilled I am with the job 5 Star did for me. Andy is a miracle worker! I have had no water issues at all.
The concrete is curing beautifully. Still some dark areas around the edges, but no water anywhere inside the basement. I can't tell you what a stress reliever this has been. I don't have to worry when it's raining hard - I don't have to run downstairs with an arm full of towels to soak up the water. It is amazing.
Today I was also able to refer your company to someone who's having water coming into his basement. I actually gave him a tour of my basement and praised you highly and gave him your contact info. I couldn’t be happier with my decision. And for those shopping around for bids, give these guys an opportunity. I darn near went with someone else who got all kinds of high ratings, talked a big game. Turned out to be a little sketchy. I was fortunate to change plans, super grateful I did. I have a real french drain, and my basement flooding problems are gone.
True to their word, when I did have a minor cosmetic issue, they immediately came out and made the repair, at no cost to me. They are competitively priced, won’t cut corners, and will be very up front. I honestly feel they are a gem in the rough. Five stars for sure. ~ Peter B. in Kenmore, WA

Interior Drainage in part of basement:
After torrential rainfall for nearly two weeks, my basement began having water issues on the opposite side of the house from where I had 5 Five do work several months ago. Of course, since I was so pleased with their work earlier I called them immediately to see how they could fix my new problem.
And within three days they were able to go through three and a half rooms of floor/wall issues with some very tricky aspects with a sewage sump pump and toilet and tub setup right where the repair needed to be done. Andy and his crew were able to safely navigate around the tough areas and address the water issues from the floor/wall joint as well as cracks in the wall that were problematic.
As before, they did an excellent job, taking care to do as little damage as possible and cleaning up before they left. I again am a very satisfied customer of Five Star Foundations and Drainage and would recommend them highly to anyone in need of foundation/drainage work. ~ Sherri DeWitt

They came quickly and were able to work us into their schedule in a short time frame. They kept looking until they were sure that they had found all of the causes of our problem and then corrected them all!
